Completed in March 2015, the building is half Holiday Inn and half Le Grove Apartments, which are on the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th floors.
The ground floor consists of a fantastic mix of: bar, restaurant, Starbucks café, business meeting areas, games area (table football, board games and table top arcade game) and business centre, including free-to-use PC and printer.

There are 4 large HD screens in the ground floor communal areas, showing the main events on Sky Sports (usually muted), and even a small shop selling essentials. You can use the free WiFi (great signal) or 4G, charge your devices, hold a meeting, put your feet up, try the draught beers, Starbucks coffee or selection of teas, and eat at very reasonable prices.

The best thing about this apart-hotel is that you have the choice to self cater or be catered for as the apartments have fully equipped kitchens and also the hotel has food and drink available all day.There's a mini-gym on the 1st floor, which is free to use, with 5 main pieces of equipment and a rack of free weights

The best thing about these large studio apartments is that they have all the benefits of being on the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th floors of a Holiday Inn, but also are fully equipped serviced apartments. Unlike the majority of apart-hotels, these large studios (31.2 square metres or 335 square feet) have full sized and fully equipped kitchens. Apartments have views towards the east (Clarendon Road) or towards the west. There’s a bar stool in the kitchen which tucks under a surface to make a dining space for one. The lounge area has a large desk space and one office/desk chair. The full length leather sofa-bed provides comfortable seating in front of the TV and there’s a coffee table too.

The 2 bed/1bath apartments are 50 sq m or 538 sq ft and feature a large and spacious kitchen and lounge. The two bedrooms have carpets and most of the rest of the apartment has wooden flooring except a small area of porcelain tiles in the kitchen, and the bathroom. There’s a spacious entrance hall and one bathroom. Both bedrooms have a TV with Freeview and adequate wardrobes and storage space. The bedroom windows can’t be opened. The first bedroom has a king size bed and the 2nd bedroom has a standard double bed.
The fully equipped kitchens feature a full size electric oven, a separate microwave, a 4-ring electric hob with extractor fan above, a fridge with small freezer box, a full size sink, a toaster, a kettle and a slim-line dishwasher. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the key pots, pans and utensils, including knife block, baking trays, and plenty of storage/cupboard space. There's all the utensils needed to cook a meal and open a bottle of wine!

There's two of everything in the studios and four of everything in the two beds, in terms of glasses, plates and cups and more are available on request.

The 5th floor laundry room is free to use and has 3 separate washing machines and dryers. Alternatively use the hotel laundry service and same day dry cleaning service. Ask at reception for pricing.

Every new guest will find the following welcome pack in their apartment on arrival:
Coffee, tea, sugar, milk (UHT), orange juice, lemonade, coke, bottled water, biscuits and cereal.
The strength of the WiFi is very good though can falter at peak times. 4G mobile reception is very good.

- Cancellation Policy -

Cancellation policy for Watford Junction Apartments 

  • 14 day cancellation policy

  • 14 days’ or more notice of cancellation is required before check-in for all lengths of stay in order to avoid charges.
  • Notice given within 14 days of check-in (or less than 14 days before arrival) will result in a charge equal to 14 nights minus the number of days’ notice given. For example, if check-in is on 8th August and notice to cancel is given on 3rd August, then 5 days’ notice has been given, so a charge of 9 nights will apply, i.e. 14-5 = 9.

  • 14 day shortening policy

  • To shorten your stay, giving 14 days’ notice or more of your new, earlier check-out date will mean that you only pay up to the new and earlier departure date. If you give less than 14 days’ notice of your new, earlier departure, you’ll need to pay for 14 nights minus the number of days’ notice given. For example, if check-out is on 30th September and notice to shorten and leave instead on 20th September is given on 10th September, then 10 days’ notice has been given, so a charge of 4 nights will apply, i.e. 14-10 = 4.
