Just a few minutes walk from the apartment will take you to the Tate Britain art gallery which is highly recommended for its fascinating historic British art as well as contemporary work. Why not take a stroll in Victoria Tower Gardens and enjoy lunching on one of the benches overlooking the river. Dont forget a visit to the famous attractions of Westminster Abbey and The Palace of Westminster. Both of these architecturally striking buildings are a must-visit. Westminster Abbey is a particularly beautiful Gothic church built in the 10th century. Whether you are religious or simply want to revel in a piece of history visit the Abbey which holds the graves and tombs of the Kings and Queens of England from Edward the Confessor to Queen Elizabeth the first! It is a 30 minute walk to Buckingham Palace from this property or 15 minutes via one of several buses along Vauxhall Bridge Road. If your stay falls in the months of August and September you will be delighted to find that parts of the Palace Gardens will be open for guests to enjoy the beautiful landscape.The upmarket neighbourhood of Chelsea and the shopping area on Elizabeth Street is just a 15 minute walk.
