Beautiful 3 bed Mews House with patio garden. Minutes from the Southbank and walk to the Shard London Dungeons Clink Museum Shakespeare's Globe Tate Modern and Oxo Tower. This property offers a lovely terraced garden 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms all within a secure gated mews. It's extremely quiet and just minutes away from the hubbub of Borough High Street and London Bridge Quarter.

Perhaps our favourite part of the property is the living room with a double height ceiling and huge glass windows. There's an eclectic yet contemporary style to the place with interesting furnishings and lots of artwork. With a yellow sofa chairs to seat everyone and a large HD TV with surround sound and CD audio system - this is a comfortable room for relaxation. There's even a sculpture of a hippo inset into glass for the coffee table and look out for the gorilla up in the rafters! French doors lead out onto the terrace garden where there is a table and chairs. To create some outdoor ambience make use of the outdoor lighting making it a lovely spot for some al fresco dining or a morning coffee in warmer weather.

Downstairs the kitchen has exposed brick slate floors granite and beech worktops and is well-equipped with everything you'll need to cook a meal at home. Features include a stylish Mercury range cooker American fridge-freezer microwave and dishwasher. Above the cooker utensils hang on the original tie points for the horses. There are fitted cupboards which are well stocked with crockery glassware and ovenware cutlery and an extending table with seating for 8. There is a second HD TV and sound system.

There is also a separate utility room with a sink washing machine dryer with hanging racks for drying clothes.

The master bedroom is on the mezzanine level which has a lovely airy atmosphere with the large windows looking out onto the garden and the 'A' frames of the original stable building. There's a superking-size bed bedside tables and bookshelves. The en suite bathroom off this room has a shower unit with jets and waterfall a loo and a washbasin.

The second bedroom has slate floors and a 5 foot sofa-bed which folds out to sleep 2 guests. There's a bedside table bookshelves and an en suite shower room with a shower washbasin loo and towel rail.

There is a third study room with a desk with WIFI a large cream sofa and book shelves. This sofa can also be folded out to sleep 2 more guests and there is a third bathroom off this room with a hand shower over the jacuzzi bath a washbasin loo bidet and mirrored cupboards.

At the front of the home there is a lovely cobbled courtyard where you can enjoy a quiet drink at the stylish table and chairs.

This mews home set in the Trinity House conservation area is in a private gated community in a 200 year old former stables which were built to serve the lovely Georgian buildings in Trinity Church Square built around 1800. At the turn of the century the stables were turned into a house retaining many of the original features such as horses rings exposed original stock brick walls old beams and floor boards whilst incorporating all the mod cons and sash windows.

The local area of London Bridge is a vibrant community with plenty of interesting bars restaurants and shops to explore. You're also near to the famous Borough Market with its fantastic selection of stalls selling a mixture of fresh food and drink. Wander through the market on a sunny morning and enjoy tasting the great olives breads puddings and more! Right by Borough Market is the 1000 year old Southwark Cathedral and on the opposite side of the road the newly completed Shard of glass the tallest building in Europe. This area is very historical and as reflected in the street names was frequented and immortalised by Dickens Shakespeare and Chaucer.

The Southbank of the Thames is also only a few minutes' walk too with its street performers street foods arts venues and riverside cafes and bars. Carry on along the river taking in the London Dungeons Clink Museum Shakespeare's Globe Tate Modern Royal Festival Hall Hayward Gallery London Eye and if your legs will carry you the view of the London skyline from Waterloo Bridge is spectacular! Potters Fields Park is close to the house too with great views of the river and the iconic Tower Bridge. Walk the other way along the Thames from London Bridge and you quickly reach Tower Bridge by the Tower of London and the Mayor of London's headquarters building known as The Headlamp. On the Southbank there is also Shad Thames with all its converted wharves and on the north bank you'll find St. Katherine's dock.

For transport Borough tube station is the closest about a 3 minute walk which joins the Northern line. From here you can be at Oxford Street for shopping in less than 20 minutes. It is also less than a 10 minute walk to the huge London Bridge station where you can join the Jubilee line as well as the Northern line or catch National rail connections.

This home has a number of ornaments in the living room and as such it is only suitable for children 12 years and above. We ask that parents bringing children take note of this and feel comfortable their children will be at ease in this environment.

Please note the owner's housekeeper comes every other Wednesday for a complimentary clean!
