The main station in the city is Southampton Central with excellent links to London and other south coast towns and cities. Southampton Airport is located in the town of Eastleigh, just north of Southampton. It is connected to the city by a frequent rail service, and hosts flights to UK and some European destinations.
Southampton harbour is no longer used for car ferries to Europe, but remains the embarkation point for many cruise liners. Sailing is very popular, and Southampton Water has been the start and finish of the Round the World Yacht Race for 30 years.
The main retail facility is the West Quay Shopping Centre, which was the biggest city-centre shopping mall in Europe when it was opened.

Compact bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe and bedside table. The main bathroom has a power shower over the bath; a washbasin and complimentary toiletries and towels are supplied on arrival.
Osborne road is set in the perfect surroundings for walks such as Southampton Common, which covers a larger area than Hyde Park in London. It includes a Wildlife Centre, swimming pool with several lakes and ponds. One allocated parking space is available for a small fee of £5 per night.
Please note we can offer a meet and greet Monday to Friday and at the weekends keys need to be collected from our main office in Southampton.
