On the first of the two floors there is a good sized double bedroom with a separate bathroom. The bedroom is light and airy with three windows and white walls. A fitted wardrobe provides ample storage for guests. The bathroom is modern and beautifully finished with a bath a waterfall shower toilet and large white bowl sink. Unusually the open plan living room kitchen and dining area are upstairs. The living room has a large comfortable corner sofa and a glass coffee table on dark wood floors. Two large windows allow morning sun to flood into the space. It is the perfect room to relax in after a long day exploring everything London has to offer.The kitchen is contemporary and provides everything guests might need; Italian fitted units brand new appliances and a large fridge/freezer. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area with a circular glass table and 4 vintage chairs where guests can enjoy meals if they decide not to eat out in one of the very many restaurants nearby. Islington is famous for its nightlife theatres and offers an impressive choice to rival the West End on popular Upper Street - with cafes restaurants boutiques a shopping mall and a couple of cinemas. It is popular with celebrities and politicians and the former Prime Minister Tony Blair lived here. The popular Sadlers Well Dance Theatre can be reached on foot. Almeida Theatre Union Chapel and O2 academy live music at local pubs and bars are just a sample of the incredible range on offer. Well known attractions in the area include the Dickens Museum the London Canal Museum Camden Passage antiques market and the Chapel Market fruit & veg.   The Emirates football stadium is within walking distance or a quick bus ride away. The area is family friendly too - the Geffrye Museum has a splendid kids zone - and the V&A Museum of Childhood and Highbury Fields are close by. Newington Green has a children's cafe, and there are plenty of child-friendly cafes in Newington Green and Upper Street.While all the delights of Angel are within walking distance transport links to other parts of the Capital are very good. Highbury & Islington station (on both the Victoria line zone 1 and London Overground) is a 5 minute walk and will take you down for example to Oxford Circus and the West End in less than 10 minutes. The new Stratford Westfield Shopping mall and site of the 2012 Olympics can also be reached in 15 minutes on the Overground line from Highbury & Islington. Frequent bus services are a few minute's walk from the house on Upper Street and will also take you to Oxford Street Piccadilly Circus Soho in about 15 minutes.
