A modern family home situated between Holland Park and Kensington this unique property has to be seen to be believed! It is located within walking distance of Holland Park Notting Hill High Street Kensington and Westfield Shopping Centre and a short bus or tube ride from many of London's top attractions and comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests with a mixture of single and double bedrooms.Fenced in and set back from the road the house is secluded and private. Through the gate you are faced with the impressive front elevation of this Victorian property which has been dramatically altered by the addition of a two storey glass pane to the lower and first floors. The split level patio area provides access via the grand pillared front door or french doors.As you enter the house you are welcomed into a comfortable and spacious sitting room with lots of comfortable seating and a large TV and DVD collection. At one end sits a baby grand piano for all budding musicians. At the other end is an interesting library and desk which could prove useful for any guests who may be working when in London. The walls are decorated beautifully and there are wooden floors throughout. Looking down over the indoor balcony next to the large front window the front of the kitchen can be seen with a small living area and additional television. The large bright basement kitchen is accessed down a staircase to the right of the main living area and is flooded with natural light.The modern kitchen is illuminated by large windows at either end has two sinks and a large amount of surface space separate laundry room and extra WC. The large oval dining table will comfortably seat all guests with a couch to relax on after dinner.From the ground floor the main staircase leads up to the master suite with separate his and hers bath and walk-in shower rooms and walk in wardrobe. The spacious bedroom has a king-size bed chaise long and television.The third floor has three further bedrooms. Two of these are twin bedrooms and one has space for a double bed (Vive Unique is able to provide an aero bed for this space) there is a childs cot bed in this room too. On the same floor there is a beautifully tiled separate bath and shower room with two basins.The top floor of the house could be a self contained flat perfect for a nanny joining a family during their stay. There are two bedrooms one with built in wardrobes and a kitchenette area. Beside this room there is a bathroom. The light and airy room to the left of this is currently used as a study and also contains a double bed and bookshelves with an en suite shower room with two sinks adjoining. The property is located in Brook Green Kensington - a vibrant artistic and multi-cultural area of West London and very close to Holland Park. There's an array of cafes restaurants and pubs within walking distance and London's largest shopping mall - Westfield - is also just a 10 minute walk or a short bus ride. Here you can find a mix of high-street and designer shops restaurants and a cinema. High Street Kensington with its boutiques cafes restaurants supermarkets (including a brilliant Wholefoods) and cinemas is just a 10 minute walk to the south. You can walk to Shepherd's Bush Market station (Hammersmith & City lines) in 10 minutes or reach Shepherd's Bush (Central line and Overground) within a few minutes by bus or 10 minutes by foot. A little further away is Notting Hill full of boutiques cafes and restaurants. Here you'll find the famous Portobello Markets. For access to Oxford Street take the tube from Shepherd's Bush and you'll be there in 16 minutes. These transport links are excellent and mean a door-to-door trip to Bond Street/Oxford Street takes just 20-25 minutes. The museum district of South Kensington is just 20 minutes away on the tube from Shepherd's Bush (Central Line to Notting Hill Gate and Circle Line to South Kensington).
