- Cancellation Policy -

Cancellation policy for Kent Terrace 

  • Bookings: The receipt of the deposit is deemed to be a firm booking. Bookings are not confirmed until payment of the deposit is received and cleared.

  • Deposits are non-refundable in all cases.
  • Full payment of the remaining balance after initial deposit is required 8 weeks before the date of your arrival.
  • If the hirer cancels a confirmed booking once the balance has been paid they remain liable for payment of the full cost of the holiday. Upon receipt of written confirmation of the cancellation from the hirer, My Seaside Luxury will endeavour to re-let the property and if successful will make a refund to the Hirer less the deposit which is non-refundable.
  • In the event of a booking being made within 8 weeks of arrival the full amount of the rental will be payable upon booking.
  • Arrivals/Departures: Rentals commence, unless otherwise notified, at 3pm on the day of arrival and terminate at 10am on the day of departure to allow the changeover to commence.
  • General
  • The number of persons occupying a property must not exceed the maximum occupancy level stated in the property details. Owners reserve the right to terminate the occupancy of the property without notice or refund in the case of a breach of this condition.
  • My Seaside Luxury has the right to decline handing over the property to the hirer if there are justifiable grounds to believe that the hirer or any of the persons included in the booking contract are not suitable to occupy the property.
  • A full refund will be given. The hirer will not be entitled to any compensation or damages for cancellation of the booking for this reason.
  • My Seaside Luxury cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to any belongings or for injury sustained by the hirer or members of his or her party during their stay at the accommodation.
  • If My Seaside Luxury find belongings of the Hirer they will endeavour to return these goods once the Hirer has agreed to cover the cost of the postage and/or delivery of the goods. It may be the Hirer decides to pick up the goods instead. My Seaside Luxury will not hold these goods indefinitely.
  • Employees of My Seaside Luxury shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Housekeeping
  • The hirer is responsible for the condition of the property and its entire contents during the hire period, fair wear and tear excepted. The hirer will make good any damage or loss and leave the property and contents in a clean and tidy condition. The person held responsible for the hiring party will be the person who made the booking. My Seaside Luxury reserves the right to make further charges for extra cleaning if the property is not left in a satisfactory condition and by agreeing to these terms and conditions, you as the hirer agree to this.
  • It is important to My Seaside Luxury that you enjoy your holiday and every effort has been made to ensure this. However, in the unlikely event of dissatisfaction with the property or any subsequent problem, the hirer must immediately contact My Seaside Luxury so that the opportunity to rectify the problem is given.
  • Termination
  • My Seaside Luxury reserves the right to terminate this agreement and request the immediate departure of all persons from the property in the event of a serious breach of the terms of this agreement. The breach may include but is not limited to the following events:
  • a) serious damage to the property.
  • b) a criminal or illegal act.
  • c) unreasonable or abusive behaviour or
  • d) excessive noise which could adversely affect the rights of My Seaside Luxury being able to continue to operate the property for short lettings or involve authorities or police in any form of complaint investigation.
  • Data Protection
  • The Hirer’s details may be passed solely to the owners of the properties for accounting purposes only. Your personal information will not be sold or otherwise passed on to any other third parties.
  • Complaints about the property
  • On arrival the property should be inspected by the guests, any issues will need to be reported to My Seaside Luxury by midday on the day after arrival, no refunds or compensation will be paid for issues not reported to MSL. Refunds and Compensation will be given at the owners discretion. We do not own any of the properties advertised on the My Seaside Luxury site. You will receive a post check in phone call to ensure that your safe arrival at the property and you can raise any queries or concerns you have with the property. Details of how to get hold of the maintenance department or the Manager will be in your key details email, at any time.
  • Damage deposit
  • We require a £250 pre authorisation to be taken from the named person on the booking form three days pre arrival, no money will be taken from your card it will just place a shadow over your card and the only reason your card will be charges is if there is any damage caused to the property, you will be notified before the card is charged.
  • Other
  • Travel Insurance is recommended.
