This room directly adjoins a light and airy dining room conservatory with terracotta floors and a large table which will seat as many as 12 guests! Towards the left of the main entrance hall you can reach a second dining room which adjoins a charming terracotta kitchen with wooden cabinetry and granite surfaces. The kitchen is fully equipped for your needs with facilities which include a double oven microwave dishwasher and coffee machine. You can access the wonderful garden which offers an al fresco dining space with a barbecue as well as a huge grassy area that children will love playing in during the summer. Climb the stairs to the first floor to find five bedrooms and the family bathroom which is fitted with both a bathtub and a separate shower enclosure to suit all tastes. There is also a convenient second bathroom on the ground floor which is fitted with a bathtub. The master bedroom has a traditional-style design with a curtained double bed and fitted wardrobes as well as a pretty antique dressing table. Located adjacent is the second bedroom which has blue and gold patterned wallpaper and a double bed. The third bedroom is great for kids as it has a single trundle bed (two single mattresses). The fourth bedroom has a double bed and an unusual corner desk with a handy sink basin! At the end of the corridor is the spacious final bedroom with wooden floors bold orange walls and a double bed as well as a study desk by the window. This is a good location for a large group of 10 guests who are interested in staying within close reach of the River Thames in a historic neighbourhood. You can reach Greenwich Town Centre in 10 minutes by car or in 20 minutes via public transport (the number 386 bus). The bustling town centre boasts some excellent attractions to visit such as the famous Greenwich Market and Clocktower Market for interesting shops and stalls. Wander along Creek Road to find fantastic retro and kitsch goods vintage outfits and unusual finds (perfect gift ideas!). You wont want to miss a visit to the stunning Royal Naval College which has a picturesque setting by the River; it was once a royal hospital for seamen in the 17th century and is now a respected University campus with Sir Christopher Wrens domed masterpiece at its centre. The site is also a popular filming location where scenes from the likes of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider The Kings Speech The Dark Knight Rises Thor and Les Miserables were all shot! Close by on the riverfront sits the preserved Cutty Sark ship and the Greenwich foot tunnel which connects to the Isle of Dogs. We highly recommend a visit to the National Maritime Museum which has a huge historical archive and the most important holdings in the world of Britain at sea comprising over 2 million items which include maritime art manuscripts and scientific instruments.There are some nice cafÃ©s shops and a supermarket within a few minutes walk of this property however a wider choice of restaurants can be found in the town centre which also has some popular markets fantastic fish and chip shops and excellent pubs. Greenwich station has the DLR train which reached Bank in 20 minutes where you have access to the major underground train lines going in to the City Centre. North Greenwich station has the Jubilee line in addition to the DLR and Overground.
